Dropping a new papercraft, commissioned by the wonderful Laura R Samotin, inspired by her upcoming novel THE LURE OF THEIR GRAVES, sequel to THE SINS ON THEIR BONES - due to be released in June!

Firstly, I'm so happy that Laura was able to provide a copy of the sequel for me to design this piece. I'm always a big fan of creating papercraft echoes, and this design wonderfully matches the first papercraft with a new arrangement of characters and a new assortment of emotions that I could only capture after experiencing this wonderful book! 

I raved about TSOTB with my last papercraft, and now Laura has dropped us what we all hoped to be a happily ever after for Dimitri and his court. But winning back the crown comes with it the harsh choices between the responsibilities of ruling his country and his personal desires -- all the while the shadows of Dimitri's haunted past are still biting at his heels. 

If THE SINS ON THEIR BONES was a exploration on processing grief, THE LURE OF THEIR GRAVES is certainly a voyage on navigating heartbreak. I hope you all enjoy the new release!  Bring some tissues!
